  • John and Renee Kunz are a great Realtor team and I will work with them whenever I am in the market for a propery in the Hollister, San Benito County area.

The hand off of accounts from Mark Vivian to the new partner Alexis Winder is/was a mistake in my book. This action has prompted both myself and my wife to remove our accounts from under the services of Edward Jones after 17 years. Alexis was highly unprofessional using threatening and manipulative speak ("The law states - You have to come in and sign or your accounts will be frozen")in an attempt to gain company policy required signatures as proof of meeting advice so that services rendered billing can take place. This action followed by her combative stance and continued unprofessional attitude with us prompted us to close our accounts (even the Vanguard representive was taken back by her attitude). I would not recommend using this EJ group!

  • Not many people can say they liked High school , but in my case I loved my time here! The staff was great, the sports programs, activities/ after school programs were excellent and its a tight knit community. What I like about SBHS is that its not like other high schools, Hollister is distanced from many other towns/high schools which is a good thing in my opinion. I have worked at multiple high schools in San Jose and I can say that there is a HUGE difference in student culture when living in a big city vs. a smaller town. People of Hollister really support the sports teams, SBHS events, and the community involvement is big when supporting the one and only High school in this town. I loved being a Baler.

  • The people in the Hollister branch are wonderful, and I want to keep doing business with them. However, if you want a CREDIT UNION you MUST NOT open a new account, as the bank's management is moving forward to change to a commercial bank instead, and has the audacity to send out a flyer to all the members encouraging them to use their votes to give up their right to vote. They want their shareholders in control, not their members. I should have seen this coming long ago, and even though I love dealing with the people in the Hollister branch, I'll be taking my money elsewhere, which I'm sure is okay with them because I'm not a millionaire. I quote from the flyer they sent me: "In a commercial bank only shareholders have voting rights. Accordingly, members... would not have voting rights, except to the extent that they became shareholders of the commercial bank. So, we get yet another commercial bank to choose from, and one fewer credit union.
